Goal - To enable Android devices to control motor actuators (robotics)
Method - Uses DTMF for ultimate compatibility
Hardware - off the shelf ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) with additional input and output circuitry.
Done completely without the use of microcontroller to keep cost down.
